Long Beach Gives In 3 Easy Steps!

You can make an impact in 3 easy steps!
STEP 1
On September 15th, send an email or text to your current list of contacts and supporters telling them that Long Beach Gives has launched, and you are helping Christian Outreach in Action to raise money!
SAMPLE EMAIL:
SUBJECT LINE: Support Christian Outreach in Action now during Long Beach Gives!
BODY: Hi {first_name}!
I'm excited to be helping Christian Outreach in Long Beach Gives with a chance to raise funds for their incredible programs! They've set a goal to raise $18,000 in just one day.
Please help to support their impact in the community. Christian Outreach in Action of Long Beach is a non-denominational non-profit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of homeless and impoverished individuals in Long Beach and surrounding areas so they may reach and sustain self-sufficiency and independence. COA follows faith-based teachings that tell us to provide compassionate assistance to anyone in need.
Early giving starts September 15th- and you have until Long Beach Gives day on September 22nd to support! Click HERE for more details and to make a donation.

STEP 2
Schedule a social media post! Create one post telling your supporters you are raising money during Long Beach Gives. You can repost this each day from September 15th-22nd! If you have extra time, throw in some impromptu posts on September 22nd!
If you have limited time, post on the platform where you have the most followers and engagement. If you can, post on FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter! Don’t forget to tag us.

Still short on time? Share any of the general campaign posts from the Long Beach Gives social media page and add your organization’s or peer fundraiser’s campaign link!
STEP 3
Send an email on September 22nd reminding your supporters that today is the day! They can make an impact by donating!
