The Season of Hope Program is your chance to make the holidays brighter for neighbors in need. Together, we can turn what might be a difficult season into one filled with gratitude, comfort, and cheer.
During Thanksgiving, COA provides hundreds of holiday meal baskets—complete with a turkey, pie, and all the trimmings—to families facing hardship. We also host a community feast on-site and distribute Blessing Bags filled with cooking and non-cooking groceries (for those without kitchen access).
At Christmas, we share the magic of the season by giving toys to nearly 300 families—reaching over 1,000 children throughout the community.

Each year, COA provides turkey baskets with all the trimmings, serves a community Thanksgiving Feast, and gives out Blessing Bags for those with or without kitchen access. But we can’t do it without you! The holidays should be a time filled with laughter, love, and joy — but for many families in our community, this season can be filled with worry instead. At Christian Outreach in Action (COA), we believe every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas. Each year, COA distributes toys to over 300 families and nearly 1,000 children across Long Beach and Signal Hill. Parents and guardians register each child — from newborns to age 16 — and can even request a specific toy.
