COA Calls on Volunteers for the 2019 Holiday Season

Christian Outreach in Action (COA) seeks volunteers to help in a variety of special events through the end of 2019.

Summary:
Sorting. Helping sort donated canned goods and other food items for its kitchen and food banks, at its facility at 515 E. 3rd Street in downtown Long Beach.
Organizing. Help sorting donations and organizing a warehouse at 1711 E. 4th St. in Long Beach.
Store Assistance. Retail sales clerk shifts at its boutique thrift store at 1772 Clark Ave. in Long Beach.
Events. COA is planning two special Thanksgiving meal services, one being its regular annual turkey and trimmings meal available for anyone; and a brand new second event especially for senior citizens. We will need help in the days prior and on the days of these events.
